What to Expect

Built in the late 1800’s the Birch Cabin is an experience of its own. Enjoy the charm of the pioneer era with the modern conveniences and comforts of today with views of the Upper Iowa River Valley below and a beautiful view of a Chimney Rock. Just One Mile from the nearest trout stream, Pine Creek and just minutes away from North Bear Creek, Waterloo, Patterson Creeks and many others, it’s sure to be the perfect fisherman’s cabin! Please note. Stairs in this cabin are steep.

Layout:Main Floor: Ramp Access, Kitchen, Living Room.

Upstairs: Loft area with One Queen and Three Twin Beds. Air Mattress upstairs as well. Window AC. (This is the only A/C unit).

Downstairs: Walk out Patio, Bathroom, One Queen Bed, Two Twin Beds, Air mattress if needed. Stays cool in the basement.

All Cabins are stock with kitchen essentials and all have private bathrooms with running water.

Hiking Trail Available to Guests. Over a mile long leading out to a beautiful overlook of the Upper Iowa River.

This is an extremely old cabin, stairs are steep and noise does carry. Window AC in the Upstairs only.

Things to Note

All of our cabins have exterior security cameras. Please be assured these cameras are not pointed in any cabin or private areas such as the hot tubs. Cameras are only used for safety precautions. We are located off of a 2 mile gravel road. A Four-wheel or All Wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the Winter and Spring months to access the cabins. Sorry this cabin is not suitable for pets or children.

Payment

50% of the total bill is due to Reserve a Cabin. Final Payment is due 30 days before your stay. This will automatically be charged to the card on file. If your reservation is less than 30 days away, the full payment will be due and charged when reservation is made. Note: this may look like a double charge on your card but it is just being paid in full in 50% increments.Your payment, or taking possession of the property after receipt/confirmation letter of the agreement, is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use this property for a vacation rental.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund up to 60 days before arrival; 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival

Checkout Rules:

Prior to Checkout: Please place all used bathroom towels in a pile on the bathroom floor.
Please clean all dirty dishes. May be left out to dry.
Please throw away all food in the refrigerator.
Please empty all trash and place in the dumpster.
Lock the door behind you.
